Die Hochschule Hof hat in den vergangenen Jahren ein sehr gutes Umfeld für die Gründungslehre sowie hervorragende Voraussetzungen für Gründungsinteressierte geschaffen. Im Rahmen des BMBF Förderprogramms „Forschung an Fachhochschulen- StartUpLabs” setzt die Hochschule auf drei zentrale Elemente: Make&Build, Think&Design und Push&Win, um die Innovationskultur und Gründermentalität weiter zu fördern.
Das Modul Make&Build zielt auf das Ausprobieren und Testen von Ideen ab. Hierfür wird an der Hochschule in den nächsten Monaten ein MakerSpace realisiert, in welchem Modelle, Demonstratoren und Prototypen mittels subtraktiver und additiver Fertigungsmethoden hergestellt und getestet werden können. Wir als NEDGEX werden den neuen MakerSpace nutzen, um Hardware-Protypen in Elektronik, IoT und Robotik bauen zu können. Das Modul Think&Design hat das Ziel die Methodik des Design Thinkings frühzeitig und nachhaltig in den kreativen Köpfen aller Hochschulmitgleider zu verankern. Hierfür wird in der Lehre ein Schwerpunkt auf Design Thinking gelegt und im Gebäude des Digitalen Gründerzentrums EINSTEIN1 ein Raum als ThinkBox für die Gründungslehre eingerichtet. Ein KickStart-Wettbewerb bildet das zentrale Element des Moduls Push&Win.
Bis zu sechs Teams werden mit 7500€ unterstützt, um in einem Zeitraum von sechs Monaten ihre Ideen zu testen. Die finanzielle Unterstützung können die Teams Prototypen anfertigen, Werkstoffeerwerben, externe Beratungen nutzen, Marktstudien durchführen, um den nächsten Schritt in die Gründungsplanung und die Entwicklung eines konkreten Geschäftsmodells zu wagen. Und wenn es geklappt hat, dann steht das Digitale Gründerzentrum EINSTEIN1 als Support auf dem weiteren Weg zur Verfügung. Klingt interessant? StartUpLab@FHof – NEDGEX in the newly created MakerSpace
Over the past years, Hof University of Applied Sciences has created a very good environment for entrepreneurship education and excellent conditions for those interested in setting up a business. Within the framework of the BMBF funding programme “Research at Universities of Applied Sciences – StartUpLabs”, the university focuses on three central elements: Make&Build, Think&Design and Push&Win, in order to further promote the innovation culture and founder mentality.
The module Make&Build aims at trying out and testing ideas. For this purpose, a MakerSpace will be realised at the university in the next few months, in which models, demonstrators and prototypes can be produced and tested using subtractive and additive production methods. We as NEDGEX will use the new MakerSpace to build hardware prototypes in electronics, IoT and robotics. The Think&Design module aims to anchor the methodology of design thinking early and sustainably in the creative minds of all university members. To this end, the teaching will focus on Design Thinking and a room will be set up in the building of the Digital Start-Up Centre EINSTEIN1 as a ThinkBox for the foundation teaching. A KickStart competition is the central element of the Push&Win module.
Up to six teams are supported with 7500€ to test their ideas over a period of six months. The financial support enables the teams to produce prototypes, purchase materials, use external consulting services, conduct market studies to take the next step in the start-up planning and the development of a concrete business model. And if it works out, the digital incubator EINSTEIN1 is available to provide support along the way.
