Das IT-Forum Oberfranken feierte am 05. März 2020 Doppeljubiläum – 10 Jahre IT-Forum und 10 Jahre Institut für Informationssysteme der Hochschule Hof! Unter dem Motto „IT als Business Enabler: Wie kann die IT die weitere positive Entwicklung unterstützen?“ deckte das diesjährige Forum ein breites digitales Themenfeld ab.
Mit dem jährlich stattfindenden IT-Forum verbessern engagierte kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen die öffentliche Wahrnehmung des IT-Standorts Oberfranken ebenso wie die Vernetzung von Entscheidern, Experten und Anwendern.
Die Besucher hatten die Möglichkeit an Vorträgen zu bereits realisierten Projekt- und Firmenbeispielen teilzunehmen sowie sich an den Infoständen der Initiatoren, Mitveranstalter und Sponsoren zu informieren. Weiterhin hielten Prof. Dr. Dr. Manfred Spitzer (Hirnforscher und Buchautor) und Laura Winterling (Physikerin, ehemalige Astronautentrainerin und Unternehmerin) spannende Keynotes zu digitalen Themen.
Für NEDGEX war das IT-Forum der erste Messeauftritt. Als Goldsponsor des Forums haben wir unsere Produkte Notify und CHAIN vorgestellt. Bei sehr guten Gesprächen konnten wir wichtige Kontakte knüpfen und in einem Innovationsnetzwerk über digitale Themen diskutieren – außerdem war es möglich eine potentielle Produkt-Kooperation mit einer Firma der Region zu beschließen. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über den Besuch der NETZSCH Kollegen!

First exhibition for NEDGEX – IT-Forum Oberfranken 2020
The IT Forum celebrated its double anniversary on 05 March 2020 – 10 years IT Forum and 10 years Institute for Information Systems of the Hof University of Applied Sciences! Under the motto “IT as Business Enabler: How can IT support further positive development?” this year’s forum covered a wide range of digital topics.
With the annual IT forum, committed small and medium-sized companies improve the public perception of Upper Franconia as an IT location as well as the networking of decision makers, experts and users.
Visitors had the opportunity to attend lectures on already realized projects and company examples as well as to inform themselves at the information stands of the initiators, co-organizers and sponsors. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Dr. Manfred Spitzer (brain researcher and book author) and Laura Winterling (physicist, former astronaut trainer and entrepreneur) gave exciting keynotes on digital topics.
For NEDGEX, the IT Forum was the first trade show appearance. As gold sponsor of the forum we presented our products Notify and CHAIN. During very good talks we were able to establish important contacts and discuss digital topics in an innovation network – furthermore it was possible to decide on a potential product cooperation with a company from the region. We were especially pleased about the visit of the NETZSCH colleagues!
