Wer noch nichts vom aktuellen Projekt LabV gehört hat, dem ist es spätestens jetzt ein Begriff. Für alle Neueinsteiger: LabV soll die Digitalisierung in der Laborumgebung vorantreiben und verknüpft Prüfgeräte herstellerunabhängig und Messdaten intelligent und vereinfacht die Organisation.
Mit dem bereits bestehenden und in Zukunft geplanten Feature-Set soll unter anderem, die Zusammenführung aller Daten vereinfacht, die Auswertung und Visualisierung ausgewählter Ergebnisse ermöglicht und eine Grundlage für Data Mining & Discovery geschaffen werden.
Zusammen mit dem INC Invention Center hat NEDGEX das Projekt LabV auf die Beine gestellt und arbeitet seitdem kontinuierlich an dessen Go2Market-Konzept, Weiterentwicklung und Konzipierung.
Wieso haben wir uns in diesem Fall für ein Joint Venture entschieden? Aus mehreren Gründen. Ein Hauptmotiv ist die Aufteilung des unternehmerischen Risikos. Risiken und Gefahren werden auf mindestens zwei Partner verteilt und müssen nicht von einem Unternehmen allein getragen werden. Auch die Nutzung lokaler Marktkenntnisse eines Partners und die bessere Ausnutzung von Ressourcen sind wichtige Gründe für ein Joint Venture. Synergieeffekte entstehen, indem die Stärken des eigenen Unternehmens mit denen eines anderen kombiniert werden und für Wettbewerbsvorteile sorgen.
Wichtiges Ziel und Absicht ist es aber auch, dass die LabV nach definierten Kriterien später einmal eine 100%-Gesellschaft in der NETZSCH Gruppe werden soll.
Hier lohnt es sich einen genaueren Blick auf unseren Joint Venture Partner das INC Invention Center zu werfen. Das INC ist eine Ausgründung aus dem Innovations-Ökosystem Aachen mit dem Schwerpunkt Products & Ventures, Digital Operations und Innovation Excellence.
Unsere Partner befinden sich jedoch im Süden und auch aus strategischen Gründen ist somit der Gründungsort der LabV Intelligent Solutions GmbH der Standort München. Ein Teil des Gründungsteams bleib jedoch am Standort in Selb und unterstützt tatkräftig bei der Umsetzung und Weiterentwicklung in der Marktstrategie, sowie den zukünftigen Marketingmaßnahmen und Messauftritten.
Weiterhin haben wir den Geschäftsbereich A&T als Entwicklungspartner, aber auch für den Marktzugang mit einer Sales-Kooperation gewonnen. Dies ist ein großartiges Beispiel dafür, wie wir in Innovations-Ökosystemen jetzt und zukünftig arbeiten wollen. Die Firmengründung des Joint Ventures ist am 6.12.2021 erfolgt, der operative Betrieb startet ab 01.01.2022.

Joint Venture: Foundation of LabV Intelligent Solutions GmbH
With the already existing and in the future planned feature set, the consolidation of all data is to be simplified, the evaluation and visualization of selected results is to be enabled and a basis for data mining & discovery is to be created.
Together with the INC Invention Center, NEDGEX has set up the LabV project and is continuously working on its Go2Market concept, further development and conceptualization.
Why did we decide on a joint venture in this case? For several reasons. One main motive is the sharing of entrepreneurial risk. Risks and dangers are distributed among at least two partners and do not have to be borne by one company alone. The use of a partner’s local market knowledge and the better utilization of resources are also important reasons for a joint venture. Synergy effects are created by combining the strengths of one’s own company with those of another, providing competitive advantages.
However, it is also an important goal and intention that LabV should later become a 100% company in the NETZSCH Group according to defined criteria.
Here it is worth taking a closer look at our joint venture partner INC Invention Center. INC Invention Center is a spin-off from the innovation ecosystem Aachen with a focus on Products & Ventures, Digital Operations and Innovation Excellence.
However, our partners are located in the south and also for strategic reasons the founding location of LabV Intelligent Solutions GmbH is thus Munich. However, a part of the founding team remains at the location in Selb and actively supports the implementation and further development of the market strategy, as well as the future marketing measures and measurement appearances.
Furthermore, we have won the A&T division as a development partner, but also for market access with a sales cooperation. This is a great example of how we want to work in innovation ecosystems now and in the future. Many thanks at this point to Dr. Thomas Denner and Dr. Jürgen Blumm for their support!
The company foundation of the joint venture took place on 6.12.2021, the operational business will start from 01.01.2022.
