Die Herausforderung

Das gründliche und sorgfältige Management von anfallenden Mess–und Prüfdaten verschiedenster, intelligent verknüpfter Laborgeräte an einem zentralen Ort. Dabei bietet LabV eine moderne und intuitive Benutzeroberfläche.

LabV wurde im Zusammenschluss von NEDGEX und dem INC Inventioncenter entwickelt. In einem kundenzentrierten Entwicklungsprozess hatten wir bereits von Anfang an die OECHSLER AG und SKZ als Partner an unserer Seite. Die Idee hinter LabV war es, das analoge Labor, bei welchem Messdaten verschiedener Laborgeräte in unterschiedlichen Dateiformaten manuell zusammengeführt werden mussten und nicht zentral durchsuchbar waren, zu automatisieren und einen sicheren Import der Datenbank mit einer anschließenden Aufbereitung zu gewährleisten. Diese zusammengeführten Prüfdaten können anschließend bspw. via Excel exportiert werden. Nachdem seitens der bisherigen Partner positives Feedback zu vernehmen war, wird nun der Marktreife entgegengefiebert.

Unsere Lösung

Gemeinsam mit unseren Entwicklungspartnern haben wir kundenzentriert eine Software entwickelt, welche manuelle Datenhaltung im Labor reduziert und den Laboranten mehr Zeit für das Wesentliche gibt.

Im Rahmen einer, in 2019 durchgeführten, umfangreichen Marktstudie, konnten wir uns ein sehr genaues Bild vom Stand der Digitalisierung in deutschen Laboren machen. Immer wieder sind wir hier auf die gleichen Probleme gestoßen: Die Pflege und Verarbeitung verschiedenster Messdaten im csv–Format ist aufwendig und zeitintensiv. Es fehlt an einfachen Lösungen, diese Datensilos zu zentralisieren und auswertbar zu machen. Viele Labore behelfen sich mit selbst entwickelten Lösungen oder Excel–Skripten. Wir haben gemeinsam mit unseren Partnern LabV entwickelt, um Messgeräte unabhängig csv–Daten in eine zentrale Datenbank importieren zu können. Dazu nutzen wir ausschließlich verschlüsselte Datenübertragung in einer in Deutschland gehostete Cloudumgebung, welche unsere selbst entwickelte Konvertierungssoftware enthält. Diese bringt die Messdaten in ein einheitliches, anzeigbares Format. Anschließend können alle zu einem Kundenprojektzugeordneten Messungen in der LabV–Oberfläche eingesehen werden. Außerdem unterstützt LabV den Rohdatenexport. Wir haben zusätzlich ein rollenbasiertes Berechtigungsmanagement eingebaut, um die Zusammenarbeit der Laboranten zu vereinfachen.

LabV is a software solution that creates space for the laboratory. Together with our strong development partners we have developed LabV to make lab data digital. We are a joint venture project of NEDGEX and INC Inventioncenter. LabV links your test equipment and measurement data intelligently and simplifies their organization. The challenge

The thorough and careful management of accumulating measurement and test data from a wide range of intelligently linked laboratory devices in one central location. LabV offers a modern and intuitive user interface.

LabV was developed in a joint effort between NEDGEX and the INC Inventioncenter. In a customer-centered development process, we had OECHSLER AG and SKZ as partners at our side from the very beginning. The idea behind LabV was to automate the analog lab, where measurement data from different lab instruments had to be merged manually in different file formats and were not centrally searchable, and to provide a secure import of the database with a subsequent processing. This merged test data can then be exported via Excel, for example. After receiving positive feedback from previous partners, the project is now eagerly awaited to be launched on the market.

Our solution

Together with our development partners, we have developed customer-centric software that reduces manual data management in the lab and gives lab technicians more time for the essentials.

As part of an extensive market study conducted in 2019, we were able to get a very precise picture of the state of digitization in German laboratories. Again and again, we encountered the same problems: The maintenance and processing of a wide variety of measurement data in csv format is costly and time-consuming. There is a lack of simple solutions to centralize these data silos and make them analyzable. Many laboratories make do with self-developed solutions or Excel scripts. Together with our partners, we have developed LabV to import csv data into a central database independently of measuring instruments. For this purpose, we exclusively use encrypted data transfer in a cloud environment hosted in Germany, which contains our self-developed conversion software. This brings the measurement data into a uniform, displayable format. Subsequently, all measurements assigned to a customer project can be viewed in the LabV interface. LabV also supports raw data export. We have also incorporated role-based authorization management to simplify collaboration between lab technicians.
