Christian Baier (Managing Director, NEDGEX), Felix Schachi (Head of Corporate Venturing and Investments, NEDGEX) sowie Hartmut Barthmann (Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, NETZSCH) waren diese Woche in Eindhoven (Niederlande), um das NEDGEX Ecosystem auszubauen sowie Kooperationen zu initiieren und zu erweitern. Sie besuchten den Brainport Eindhoven und HighTech XL, trafen sich mit Jeroen Glansdorp, CEO des Portfolio-Startups Veridis, und anderen Co-Investoren.
Veridis ist besonders für unseren Geschäftsbereich Analysieren & Prüfen spannend. Denn das Startup hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht mit ihrem MADSCAN System einen neuen Qualitätsstandard auf dem Markt des Kunststoffrecyclings zu etablieren. Es misst thermische Veränderungen von Kunststoffen und ermöglicht Recyclingunternehmen, die enthaltenen Kunststoffarten genau zu bestimmen.
Brainport Eindhoven ist ein führendes Zentrum für Technologie und Innovation, dass die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Unternehmen – wie ASML, Philips, DAF Trucks – und Wissenseinrichtungen fördert. Darüber hinaus verfügt Brainport über ein starkes Ecosystem und ein finanzstarkes Netzwerk mit Venture Capitals und Venture Builders.

NEDGEX expands cooperation
Christian Baier (Managing Director, NEDGEX), Felix Schachi (Head of Corporate Venturing and Investments, NEDGEX) and Hartmut Barthmann (Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, NETZSCH) were in Eindhoven (Netherlands) this week to expand the NEDGEX ecosystem and initiate and expand collaborations. They visited Brainport Eindhoven and HighTech XL, met with Jeroen Glansdorp, CEO of the portfolio startup Veridis, and other co-investors.
Veridis is particularly exciting for our Analyzing & Testing division. The start-up has set itself the task of establishing a new quality standard in the plastics recycling market with its MADSCAN system, which measures thermal changes in plastics and enables recycling companies to precisely determine the types of plastic they contain.
Brainport Eindhoven is one of the most innovative centres for technology and innovation in the Netherlands. The focus is on promoting cooperation between companies – such as ASML, Philips, DAF Trucks – and knowledge institutions. Brainport also has a strong ecosystem and a financially strong network of venture capitalists and venture builders.
As a powerful startup incubator, HighTech XL supports teams to grow and scale. Our team met some interesting deep tech startups from the HTXL portfolio. They not only presented their technical solutions, but also explored possible future investments together.
