On September 19th, our Innovation Architect, Luis Sorensen, proudly represented Nedgex at H2VConnect, organized by AHK in Curitiba. The event aimed to foster connections and strategic partnerships to accelerate the development of Brazil’s green hydrogen market, bringing together startups, corporations, and universities.

Green hydrogen is an increasingly relevant topic with immense potential to decarbonize our planet, making it a strategic focus for Nedgex. Despite the challenges in developing hydrogen production technology, projections suggest that the low-carbon hydrogen market could reach 150 GW by 2030.

During a panel discussion, Luis, a Chemical Engineering graduate, shared valuable insights into the future of hydrogen in Brazil. With its abundant solar and wind resources, Brazil is well-positioned to lead in green hydrogen production through electrolysis. Furthermore, as one of the world’s largest agricultural producers, the country can utilize agricultural waste to indirectly generate low-carbon hydrogen.

At Nedgex, we are committed to being at the forefront of this important conversation. We are actively seeking promising startups and innovative technologies for hydrogen production. If you’re involved in this field and would like to connect, feel free to reach out to us hello@nedgex.com
