NEDGEX – Was und vor allem WER ist das?

Um dir ein besseres Verständnis zu geben, was wir bei NEDGEX tagtäglich tun, möchten wir dir gerne das Team vorstellen. 🤓

Unser Team besteht aus vielen kreativen Köpfen, die Herausforderungen als Chance sehen und gerne was bewegen. Einer davon ist Felix. 

Seit Januar 2024 ist er als Head of Corporate Venturing & Investments Teil unseres NEDGEX Teams und arbeitet im Innovation Hub in München. Damit ihr Felix und seinen Alltag bei NEGEX besser kennen lernen könnt, folgen ein paar interessante Einblicke. 👇

Erzähle uns von deiner Reise zu NEDGEX – was hat dich hierhergeführt und in welcher Rolle nimmst du bei uns ein?

Erstmals habe ich NETZSCH vor ca. 6 Jahren kennengelernt. Damals war ich beteiligt NETZSCH dabei zu unterstützen das Konzept für NEDGEX zu erarbeiten und entsprechend umzusetzen. Seitdem ist der Kontakt zu Christian Baier nie abgebrochen und im Herbst 2023 hat Christian mich dann nochmal ausführlicher über die Möglichkeiten bei NEDGEX informiert – daraus hat sich dann mein Einstieg im Januar 2024 ergeben.

Kannst du uns etwas zu deinem beruflichen Werdegang mitteilen?

Nach ersten Erfahrungen im Bereich Venture Capital durfte ich anschließend im Bereich Corporate Innovation / Venture Building Erfahrungen sammeln bevor ich dann nach 1,5 Jahren als Freelancer mein eigenes SaaS Startup (helviX GmbH) gegründet habe. Nach 3 intensiven Jahren als Unternehmer freue ich mich nun bei NEDGEX meine verschiedenen Erfahrungen einbringen zu können um das Thema Startup Kooperationen und VC Investments in der NETZSCH Gruppe voranzutreiben. Nebenbei betreibe ich zusammen mit meiner Familie seit 7,5 Jahren noch einen Onlineshop für Premium-Produkte aus Kreta (Olivenöl, Balsamicos & Meersalz)

Was sollte man über dich wissen?

Ich bin 35 Jahre, verheiratet, habe einen knapp 2 Jahre alten Sohn und lebe in München. Ich bin leidenschaftlicher 1860 Fan und spiele auch selbst gerne noch Fußball (soweit es der Körper hergibt).

“Innovation” ist ein weitreichender Begriff – was bedeutet er konkret für dich?

Manchmal bekommt man den Eindruck, dass das Thema Innovation neu wäre, aber es ist ja nicht so, dass es früher keine Innovation gab, ganz im Gegenteil. Die Innovationszyklen sind nur deutlich kürzer geworden und es gibt heute andere Ansätze & Tools. Am Ende gilt es große Probleme zu identifizieren und passende Lösungen dafür zu entwickeln – gerade im Bereich Deep Tech ist das zwar schwer, aber dadurch auch um so schöner wenn’s klappt 😉  

Welche Hobbys oder Aktivitäten begeistern dich außerhalb der Arbeit?

Zeit mit der Familie, Reisen, Fußball & Skifahren. Wenn es etwas zu feiern gibt, bin ich gerne dabei 😉

Was schätzt du an der Arbeit bei NEDGEX am meisten?

Die Bandbreite der Themen, die hohen Freiheitsgrade in der Umsetzung und die vielen Möglichkeiten, die diese tolle Firma mit sich bringt.

Was macht dir an deiner Arbeit an meisten Spaß?

  1. 1. Jede Woche viele innovative Startups kennenlernen zu dürfen und dabei in viele spannende Themen einzutauchen und über neue Technologien, Märkte etc. zu lernen.
  2. 2. Zu sehen wieviel Mehrwert ich/wir tatsächlich bei Startups erzeugen können


Welches sind deine prägendsten Erfolge und Lernmomente in deiner Laufbahn?

– Alle Aufstiege als Fußballspieler & Trainer

– Kündigungseinzelgespräche mit 15+FTE

– Ich hatte immer wieder das Glück mit sehr smarten und erfahrenen Menschen zusammenarbeiten zu dürfen, die mich in diversen

– Situationen an ihren Gedanken und Erfahrungen teilhaben lassen

NEDGEX – What and above all WHO is it?

Our team consists of many creative minds who see challenges as opportunities and like to make a difference.
One of them is Felix.

Since January 2024, he has been part of our NEDGEX team as Head of Corporate Venturing & Investments and works in the Innovation Hub in Munich. Here are a few interesting insights to help you get to know Felix and his everyday life at NEGEX. 👇


Tell us about your journey to NEDGEX – what brought you here and what is your role here?


I first got to know NETZSCH about 6 years ago. At that time, I was involved in supporting NETZSCH in developing the concept for NEDGEX and implementing it accordingly. Since then, the contact with Christian Baier has never broken off and in autumn 2023 Christian informed me in more detail about the opportunities at NEDGEX – this resulted in my joining the company in January 2024.

Can you tell us something about your professional career?

After my first experiences in venture capital, I was able to gain experience in corporate innovation / venture building before I founded my own SaaS startup (helviX GmbH) after 1.5 years as a freelancer. Following 3 intensive years as an entrepreneur, I am now pleased to be able to contribute my various experiences to NEDGEX in order to promote the topic of startup cooperations and VC investments in the NETZSCH Group. In addition, I have been running an online shop for premium products from Crete (olive oil, balsamicos & sea salt) together with my family for 7.5 years.

What should people know about you?

I am 35 years old, married, have a son who is almost 2 years old and live in Munich. I am a passionate 1860 fan and also enjoy playing football myself (as far as my body allows).


“Innovation” is a broad term – what does it mean to you in concrete terms?

Sometimes you get the impression that the topic of innovation is new, but it’s not as if there wasn’t innovation in the past, quite the opposite. The innovation cycles have only become much shorter and there are other approaches and tools today. In the end, it is important to identify big problems and develop suitable solutions for them – especially in the field of deep tech, this is difficult, but it’s all the more rewarding when it works 😉  


What hobbies or activities excite you outside of work?

Spending time with my family, travelling, football & skiing. If there’s something to celebrate, I like to be there 😉


What do you appreciate most about working at NEDGEX?

The range of topics, the high degree of freedom in in realisation and the many opportunities that this great company offers.


What do you enjoy most about your work?

  1. 1. Getting to know lots of innovative start-ups every week and immersing myself in lots of exciting topics and learning about new technologies, markets etc.
  2. 2. Seeing how much added value I/we can actually generate for start-ups


What are your most formative successes and learning moments in your career?

  • – All promotions as a football player & coach
  • – One-on-one termination interviews with 15+FTEs
  • – I have always been lucky enough to work with very smart and experienced people who have shared their thoughts and experiences with me in various situations

I listen to podcasts regularly, these are my “top 3 recommendations”:
