Wir haben Tobi im Interview einige Fragen gestellt und interessante Einblicke in seine Arbeit gewinnen können. 👇

NEDGEX: „Was sind deine konkreten Aufgaben als Innovation Designer?“

Tobi: In unseren Projekten kommen wir von der Idee bis hin zu einem Produkt. Eine meiner Hauptaufgaben in einem solchen Projekt ist es Prototypen zu bauen – also die erste Version einer digitalen Lösung.

Als Innovation Designer bei NEDGEX habe ich verschiedene Aufgaben rund um UX/UI Design (Anm. d. Verf. User Experience / User Interface Design). Das schließt z. B. Product Development im digitalen Bereich, Business, Virtual und Process Design ein. Process Design bedeutet im Einzelnen Projektstrukturen aufbauen, themenspezifische Workshops organisieren und leiten.

NEDGEX: „Wie bist du zu NEDGEX gekommen?

Tobi: Ich habe im Zuge meines Studiums für eine Praxisarbeit bei Firmen in unserer Region Ausschau gehalten. Hier habe ich dann eine Ausschreibung bei XING gesehen und so bin ich auf NEDGEX aufmerksam geworden. 🤗

NEDGEX: „Und weshalb bist du bei NEDGEX geblieben?“

Tobi: Ich fand es toll, direkt mit in Projekte einbezogen zu werden. Für eines dieser Projekte habe ich für meine Bachelorarbeit einen Webkalkulator innerhalb eines digitalen Geschäftsmodells entwickelt und umgesetzt. 👨‍💻

NEDGEX: Was hat dir NEDGEX bisher schon mit auf den Weg gegeben?

Tobi: Definitiv Mut zu Neuem! Mein Ziel war es ursprünglich mich im Bereich Softwareentwicklung weiterzubilden, aber auch die verschiedenen Projekttätigkeiten, die in IT-Projekten anfallen kennenzulernen. NEDGEX gibt mir die Möglichkeit mich in genau diesem Feld der Projektarbeit zu entwickeln und Antworten auf Fragen zu finden, wie: “Wie baut man ein Projekt von 0 auf 100 auf?”, “Wie sehen die Strukturen aus?”, “Welche konkreten Aufgaben fallen an und wie sind die Verantwortlichkeiten?”, “Wie delegiert man innerhalb eines Teams?” etc.

We asked Tobi a few questions in the interview and were able to gain interesting insights into his work. 👇

NEDGEX: “What are your specific tasks as an innovation designer?”

Tobi: In our projects, we go from an idea to a product. One of my main tasks in such a project is to build prototypes – the first version of a digital solution.As an Innovation Designer at NEDGEX, I have various tasks around UX/UI Design (editor’s note: User Experience / User Interface Design). This includes e.g. Product Development in the digital area, Business, Virtual and Process Design. Process Design means in detail setting up project structures, organizing and leading topic-specific workshops.

NEDGEX: “How did you come to NEDGEX?

Tobi: During my studies I was looking for a possibility to write my thesis in collaboration with a company in our region. This is where I saw an advertisement on XING and that’s how I became aware of NEDGEX. 🤗

NEDGEX: “And why did you stay at NEDGEX?”

Tobi: I thought it was great to be directly involved in projects. For one of these projects, I developed and implemented a web calculator within a digital business model for my bachelor’s thesis. 👨💻

NEDGEX: What has NEDGEX already given you along the way?

Tobi: Definitely the courage to try something new! My original goal was to foster my education in the field of software development, but also to get to know the various project activities that arise in IT projects. NEDGEX gives me the opportunity to develop myself in exactly this field of project work and to find answers to questions like: How to build a project from 0 to 100, what do the structures look like, what are the tasks involved, how to delegate within a team, etc.
