Im Januar startete das Projekt “NEXUS IoT industrial” seine Arbeit. Dieses Projekt ist eine gemeinsame Initiative von NETZSCH-Mitarbeitern bei NDB Digital und dem Team von NEDGEX Brasilien. Das Accelarator-Projekt basiert auf der Plug & Play-Lösung für Pumpen bei NDB. Der Kick-off fand am Hauptsitz von Netzsch do Brasil (NDB) statt und brachte die Teams für ein Wochenende, in dessen Verlauf sie nicht nur die strategische Ausrichtung erabeiteten, sondern sich auch als Team kennenlernten, zusammen.
Was ist das “NEXUS IoT Industrial” Projekt?
Die vorausschauende Wartung von Industrieanlagen ist oft zu teuer und zu kompliziert, und aktuelle IoT-Lösungen sind für Kunden unattraktiv. Mangels online abrufbarer Daten müssen Anlagen manuell überwacht werden, was häufig bedeutet, dass erst nach einem Ausfall aktiv eingegriffen wird. Das Device von NEXUS Industrial IoT ist so konzipiert, dass es eingreift, bevor ein Fehler auftritt. Es ist ein komplettes IoT-System mit universellen Sensoreingängen. Wenn definierte Werte kritisch sind oder überschritten werden, werden Alarmmeldungen ausgegeben, so dass Maßnahmen ergriffen und optimiert werden können, bevor es zu einem Ausfall kommt. Die Daten werden über eine Web-Plattform zugänglich sein. Das spart der Industrie Geld und sorgt für reibungslose Abläufe. Für uns bei Netzsch bedeutet das, dass wir Zugang zu neuartigen Daten in industriellen Anlagen und zivilen Lieferketten erhalten, um neue digitale Lösungen zu entwickeln, die einen Mehrwert für unsere Kunden schaffen.
Das Kick-off-Meeting bei NDB in Pomerode begann mit der Definition der Ziele und Prioritäten für das Team sowie einem Überblick über die geplanten Projekte für die Zusammenarbeit und die erfolgreiche Markteinführung im Jahr 2024. Die Teammitglieder tauschten Ideen aus und teilten ihre Visionen für die Zukunft. Es war nicht nur eine Gelegenheit, sich auf Ziele und Strategien zu einigen, sondern auch eine Gelegenheit für die Teammitglieder, sich persönlich kennen zu lernen. Der Freitag diente ebenfalls der Teambildung durch den Besuch der traditionellen Festa Pomerania.
Der Start des NEXUS-Projekts in Brasilien war ein wichtiger Meilenstein, der es den Teammitgliedern ermöglichte, starke Bindungen aufzubauen und eine gemeinsame Vision für die Zukunft zu entwickeln. Wenn die Teams zu ihren Aufgaben und Projekten zurückkehren, wird die Energie und Inspiration des Kick-offs sie weiter motivieren und den Erfolg im kommenden Jahr vorantreiben.

A Great Start: NEDGEX visits the NDB plant in Pomerode and Kicksoff the Year for Nexus IoT
The “NEXUS IoT industrial” project began its work in January. This project is a joint initiative between NETZSCH employees at NDB Digital and the team at NEDGEX Brazil. The Accelarator project is based on the Plug & Play solution for pumps at NDB. The kick-off took place at the headquarters of Netzsch do Brasil (NDB) and brought the teams together for a weekend during which they not only worked on the strategic direction but also got to know each other as a team.
What is the “NEXUS IoT Industrial” project?
Predictive maintenance of industrial plants is often too expensive and too complicated and current IoT solutions are unattractive for customers. Due to a lack of data that can be accessed online, devices have to be monitored manually, meaning that active action is often only taken after a failure. The device is designed to intervene before a failure occurs. It is a complete IoT system with universal sensor inputs. If defined values are critical or exceeded, alarm messages are issued so that action can be taken and optimized before a failure occurs. The data will be accessible via a web platform. This helps the industry to save money and ensures a smooth process. For us at Netzsch it gives us access to novel data in industrial equipment and critical supply chains to develop new digital solutions to generate additional value for our clients.
The kick-off event at NDB in Pomerode began with the definition of goals and priorities for the team as well as an overview of the projects planned for the collaboration and successful market launch in 2024. The team members exchanged ideas and shared their visions for the future. It was not only an opportunity to agree on goals and strategies but also a chance for the team members to get to know each other personally. The Friday was also used for team building by visiting the traditional Festa Pomerania.
The NEXUS project kick-off in Brazil is an important milestone and allowed the team members to build strong bonds and develop a shared vision for the future. As the teams return to their tasks and projects, the energy and inspiration from the kick-off event will continue to motivate them and drive success in the year ahead.
