In der sich schnell entwickelnden Landschaft des UX/UI-Designs passt sich der kreative Prozess ständig an neue Technologien und Trends an. Eine der revolutionärsten Veränderungen der letzten Jahre ist die Integration von Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI), um den Designprozess zu erleichtern.
Heute werden wir das innovative Magician-Plugin erkunden, ein integriertes Figma-basiertes Tool, das KI nutzt, um den kreativen Prozess zu erleichtern, ohne dass man ständig andere Websites und Plattformen mit künstlicher Intelligenz aufsuchen muss.

Dennoch ist es nicht das Ziel, den Designer zu ersetzen, sondern eine helfende Hand zu bieten, indem Vorschläge gemacht und banale Aufgaben automatisiert werden, damit sich die Designer auf komplexere und kreativere Aspekte ihrer Arbeit konzentrieren und die Idee in einem agileren Prozess visualisieren können.

Diese Funktion hilft bei der Korrektur von Texten mit besseren Vorschlägen, Zusammenfassungen, Übersetzungen und sogar Vereinfachungen (bei der Arbeit mit multikulturellen Teams kann ich sagen, dass dies wirklich hilfreich ist).
Auf diese Weise können Designer ausgefeiltere und professionellere Ergebnisse erzielen, ohne ständig Übersetzer hinzuziehen, mit GPT chatten und Texte überprüfen zu müssen. Eine weitere nette Funktion ist die Inspektion von Elementen innerhalb einer Gruppe, die eine Umbenennung auf der Grundlage ihrer Merkmale ermöglicht. Dies ist eine wertvolle Ergänzung zu den Fähigkeiten eines Designers.

One of the significant benefits of using Magician is its integration of multiple features within a single Figma plugin. While numerous AI-driven design tools are available, Magician stands out for its unique combination of features designed to simplify and accelerate any creation.
⚙️ Generates Images and Icons
Magician’s first set of features generates images and icons, a task that could be done by other tools already. However, there is a lot of room for improvement in this domain, the generating needs refinement and the touch of a designer, once the output comes along with a few bugs and even weird looking final results.
Even Though, the goal is not to replace the designer but to offer a helping hand by providing suggestions and automating mundane tasks, allowing designers to focus on more complex and creative aspects of their work and visualize the idea in a more agile process.

Another nice feature is the inspection of elements within a group, allowing for renaming based on their characteristics. This is a valuable complement to a designer’s skills.

If it weren’t for this new habit, I wouldn’t dedicate so much of my time to exploring new features and end up learning so much about my process.
